Dennis John Snow, born November 8, 1946, in Salem, MA, was the youngest of four children. Growing up in Rowley, MA, Dennis always tried to keep up with his older brothers and friends. He was known as “Divin’ Den” during his high school football career because of his love of swimming and fishing in the neighborhood. Dennis had a close-knit family, with his parents, Helen B Szalkocoski and Everett F Snow, providing a loving and supportive environment. Unfortunately, his sister Carol Morse and daughter Cassidy M Snow predeceased him.
Professional Life and Achievements
After graduating high school, Dennis served in the Navy aboard the USS Constitution, or “Old Ironsides.” This experience instilled in him a sense of discipline and dedication. After his military service, Dennis began a 35-year career with the IRS, where his clear speech and meticulous attention to detail made him a valuable employee. Throughout his tenure at the IRS, Dennis formed lasting friendships with his co-workers, who admired his work ethic and integrity. Additionally, Dennis finds solace and camaraderie through his involvement in a golf league at Merrimack Golf Course in Methuen, MA.
Marriage and Family Life
In 1990, Dennis married the love of his life, Linda. Together, they built a beautiful home in Rowley, MA, which became a treasured refuge for Dennis until his death. Dennis had a passion for decorating his home with antiques from local estate auctions and took pride in tending his flower and vegetable gardens. He and Linda have three daughters: Mackenzie, Morgan, and Heather.
